The Eighth Army Division reported this Monday that preliminary information indicates that these clashes between illegals are due to the control of illicit economies in this region.

For its part, the Office of the Ombudsman warned because in the last hours there have been “Homicides, threats, illegal detentions, massive displacement and risk of forced displacement”In these municipalities.

According to the Army, to deal with this situation they will put in place a special security device that will travel to the area to help initiate the corresponding investigations.

“We categorically reject these violent acts among these criminal groups, responsible for the effects on human rights and violations of international humanitarian law in this area of ​​the country, which affects the civilian population ”, reads the Army statement.
