A number of buses are stuck behind the windscreen wipers of a BMW.

There are now 22 fines.

The car has been there for a long time.

A man regularly visits family members in Lower Austria. Over the past few weeks he has made a curious discovery in their housing estate. The windshield of a parked BMW is covered in traffic tickets. Every time he walks by there, there are a few more. For the family man that would be an absolute nightmare. On Saturday he finally stopped for a moment to count the speeding tickets.

“I was horrified. The driver with a Viennese number plate has to lift a total of 22 tickets. It’s 27 euros each Busse.» The man suspects that the car owner is currently on vacation and may not have noticed the new short-term parking zone.

In fact, a comprehensive short-term parking zone was introduced in the town at the beginning of August. Parking is now only allowed for three hours at a time. Anything over that will be penalized. “The vehicle must have been here since at least August 1st. I really hope that the handlebar will come back soon. 22 tickets are definitely enough!”
