21 people died due to heavy rain across the country, low-lying areas flooded, electricity suspended, house roofs, walls, lightning strikes – Pakistan

Heavy rains are continuing intermittently in various districts of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. 21 people died due to the rain, the roof of the house, the walls fell down and the woman and 5 children were struck by lightning.

Heavy rains are continuing intermittently in different districts of Sindh including Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas and Nowshahrofiroz. In Jamshoro, the rain caused destruction in the hilly area. Many sheep and goats were washed away by rainwater, several villages were cut off from Jamshoro by land.

Apart from this, heavy rain has been going on intermittently since late night in different areas including Mirpurkhas, Nowshehro Feroze, Bhat Shah, New Saeedabad, Matiari, Hala and Mitari.

Due to the rain, the low-lying areas have been submerged while the main roads are presenting the scene of ponds.

It has been raining heavily for 10 hours in Dadu city and its surroundings.

Electricity supply has been suspended in the city and suburbs for 10 hours, citizens are facing severe problems due to long power breakdown.

Due to the rain, water has also entered the District Headquarters Hospital, due to which the patients are also facing severe problems.

Tando Adam

A 40-feet wide crack occurred in the Rohri canal near Tando Adam of Sanghar tehsil, more than a dozen villages including Alam Dero, Sui Kandar and other villages were submerged due to the crack.

Due to the crack, thousands of acres of crops were flooded, while despite the information, the officials of the Inhar Tando Adam II Department did not arrive.
