Melbourne ∙ The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be hosted by the Australian state of Victoria. Contrary to the custom of organizing games in one city, the competitions will be held in 4 local hubs in Victoria.
Each of the hubs in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Gipsland will have athlete villages. Meanwhile, the opening ceremony of the Games will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, one of Victoria’s pillars.
