Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach and Omega Timekeeping CEO Alain Zobrist jointly cut the ribbon to announce Omega The pavilion officially opened on Thursday.

Together they began an outdoor tour, where OMEGA’s connection to the Olympics and Paralympics was showcased on walls filled with images and history. This is a great opportunity to learn about the brand’s 92-year history and some of the most important innovations OMEGA has developed during this period.

The exploration then continues inside, where visitors begin with an epic cinematic introduction. This moving beginning lays the foundation for OMEGA’s history and invites everyone to enter the pavilion and explore the many spaces dedicated to timing technology and Olympic sports events.

This includes the main experience “Race of Champions” where everyone can test their sprinting skills on the 10m track. Once in the starting blocks in a simulated stadium, they will be able to compete virtually against real Olympic or Paralympic athletes and compare themselves to the best. Videos of their matches will then be produced which they can share on social networks.

Of course, some of Omega’s most important timepieces will also be on display. From electronic starting guns to the new Scan’O’Vision Ultimate print camera, each product offers a special insight into modern cutting-edge timekeeping.

In the locker room, visitors can get acquainted with real swimming starting blocks while opening the locker door to read the biography of the Omega Olympic and Paralympic Ambassador. Athletes’ stories can also be played on dedicated video screens in the museum.

To provide an accurate overview of the measurements of the hurdles event, Omega also designed a swimming pool with realistic underwater effects. A detailed video explains how Omega incorporates data measurement into swimming, providing precise and informative detail. Finally, visitors will be able to take a close look at Omega’s watches designed specifically for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and watch the brand’s commercials in a dedicated projection room.

The Omega Pavilion will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm daily during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This includes dates from July 27 to August 11 and August 28 to September 8, 2024.
