JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – At the 2024 Oscar awards, only 4 people went home with gold trophies.
However, the 20 Oscar nominees can still enjoy more than 50 prizes worth up to 180 thousand dollars or around IDR 2.79 billion.
This gift bag, called everybody wins, was given by the marketing company Distinctive Assets.
The increase in actor fees can even reach 80 percent. Meanwhile, studios that produce best pictures will find it easier to get top artists.
Interestingly, in the last 4-5 years, films that won best picture at the Oscars were unable to win the hearts and money of the audience by collecting the highest film revenues of that year.
Barbie and Oppenheimer’s income represents 88 percent of the total income from all films released in 2023.
Even though Oppenheimer did not win the highest income, at least compared to previous years, the public and the Oscar jury had the same tastes.
