On December 8, the IOC allowed Russians and Belarusians to participate in the Olympics in a neutral status. However, the organization’s release initially stated that 11 neutral athletes were selected to participate in the competition – eight Russians and three Belarusians. Currently there are six Russians and five Belarusian athletes on the list.

Russian and Belarusian teams will not participate in the Olympics. Also, athletes and staff members who have ever actively expressed support for the CBO will not be admitted.

The symbols of Russia and Belarus will not be displayed at the Olympics in Paris in any official place or event.

The Olympic Games in the French capital will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
