The event is hosted by the Chinese Baseball Association and the Chinese Students Sports Federation. During the 9-day competition, 30 teams and 587 athletes from all over the country will compete fiercely in Weihai.
After the opening ceremony, the match between Fengtai Experimental Team 1 and Weihai City Baseball Team began.
It is worth mentioning that this competition is also a “selection competition”. The Chinese Baseball Association has organized a team of experts to participate in the whole process, conduct a comprehensive survey of the athletes, and select outstanding talents for baseball.

It is reported that in recent years, Weihai Lingang District has hosted more than 100 brand events including the Little League Asia-Pacific Finals, the Asian Baseball Championships, the National Baseball Championships, the Shandong Baseball Championships, the Weihai International Baseball Invitational, etc., and has a strong baseball sports atmosphere.
