Microsoft didn’t reveal Machine Games’ 2024 Indiana Jones game when it confirmed its first Developer Direct of the year would take place on Thursday, but it seemed obvious. Not only did last January’s show only include games launching in 2023, the Swedish studio also said we would see a few minutes of gameplay, making it clear that the game was already in a very long development phase. Then, some credible rumors claimed that what we’re tentatively calling Indiana Jones was set to release this year, which is probably one of the reasons why we got confirmation today.
Xbox Wire published an article not only reminding us that Thursday’s Developer Direct will start at 8pm GMT/9pm CET, how to watch and more. It also confirms all of the games shown, officially stating that Avowed, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Ara: History Untold, and definitely not least, Indiana Jones, will launch later in 2024. The “later” part also seems to indicate that we won’t see another game drop like Hi-Fi Rush in 2023, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see a fifth secret game;
