Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports Yoo In-chon visited the Jeongseon High1 Stadium and the athletes’ village, which will host the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games, on the 13th and inspected the final preparations for the competition.
On this day, Minister Yoo toured the facilities of High1 Ski Resort, where alpine skiing competitions are held, and the athletes’ village lodgings, under the guidance of Choi Cheol-gyu, Acting CEO of Kangwon Land.
Minister Yoo, who visited High1 Ski Resort, comprehensively inspected the facility preparation status and safety measure manual, and then moved to the Apollo Finish point, the stadium, to check the slope maintenance status and encourage workers.
Next, we took the Leaff to the Mountain Hub and inspected the Apollo 4.6 slope, which is the starting point of the stadium, and carefully inspected the facilities, including the player rest area before the game.
