Following approval by the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC), F1 announced on Wednesday 5 July the FIA-F1 World Championship calendar for the 2024 season. The Japanese Grand Prix will be held at Suzuka Circuit on April 7 as the fourth round of the series.

To keep the season sustainable, F1 has been promoting regional groupings of the calendar as part of logistics and reducing the burden on teams.
