Do we really have to comment on this kind of ranking? No. Are we going to do it anyway? Yes.
We can note to begin with that five nations have managed the feat of coming to play this World Cup and leaving completely empty-handed. Cape Verde and China may have snatched a victory each ( once morest Venezuela and Angola) but unfortunately will not even play a qualifying tournament for Paris 2024. A disappointment for Cape Verde despite its status as the smallest nation basketball of this World Cup in the FIBA ranking, a huge disappointment for the Chinese, rarely absent from the Olympic event and who will miss their second consecutive Olympics.
