Who says end of the NBA season, often says start of international competitions. And who says start of international competitions, says construction of roster for the different nations. Although the World Cup is not the most prestigious international competition, the 2024 Olympics are coming next year and this World Cup remains a good way to prepare for them by starting now a dynamic and a recruitment campaign, to build loyalty new players over the next few years.
Not too complicated for Team USA to build an elite roster, even if the players are still a bit young. The challenge of this World Cup remains to capitalize on the next few years for Team USA, but it is also an opportunity for some players to show themselves on the big stage by appearing among the greats (hello Austin Reaves).
