2023 Silver Pyramids: Recognizing Innovation, Carbon Impact, and Human Relations in Real Estate Development

The Federation of Real Estate Developers of the Alps awarded the Silver Pyramids a few weeks ago to seven exemplary achievements in terms of innovation, carbon impact, and in terms of human relations. 7 prizes for low-carbon projects and in the service of human connection.

The Silver Pyramids illustrate the commitment of our profession, combative and proactive with local elected officials to respond to the challenges of the city of tomorrow, sober, sustainable and civic.. » underlined Vincent Davy, president of the Federation of Alpes Real Estate Developers, during the ceremony of the ¨Pyramides d’Argent Alpes, regional version of Pyramids awarded at the national level by real estate development professionals.

On October 31, 2023, at the Aix-les-Bains Casino, Vincent DAVY, and the nine historic partners of the Silver Pyramids revealed the 2023 winners of the twentieth edition, in the presence of Pascal Boulanger, president of FPI France ( Federation of Real Estate Developers of France), Renaud Beretti, mayor of Aix-les-Bains, Danièle Carteron, substitute deputy for Haute-Savoie, Christophe Charles, vice-president in charge of social action, integration and housing of the Departmental Council of Isère, Michel Béal, mayor of Saint-Jorioz (Haute Savoie), Michel Dyen, mayor of Saint-Alban-Leysse, Jean-Charles Mogenet, mayor of Samoëns and Georges Morand, mayor of Sallanches.

Philippe Silberzhann, professor of strategy at EM Lyon Business School, spoke at the start of the ceremony on the theme “Survive and prosper in an uncertain world!” . The twentieth anniversary edition rewarded the know-how of the members of the FPI Alpes, in their programs for the construction of new housing and tertiary real estate, for the departments of Ain, Drôme, Isère, Savoie , Haute-Savoie and Hautes Alpes. Three hundred people participated in this evening, real estate developers, community representatives, developers, specifiers of new products, notaries, architects, surveyors, design offices, building professionals, industrialists, professional organizations and federations of construction.

The jury of professionals chaired by Fabienne GROS, president of the Union of Architects of Savoie, examined 52 files. “With 52 programs, the number of applications received this year was exceptionally high, a sign of the dynamism of the profession in a difficult context. We also see it as a sign of confidence and recognition of the actions of the FPI Alpes, alongside all local stakeholders who are increasingly committed to aligning construction projects with contemporary issues.»Seven prizes were awarded by the historic partners of the Pyramides d’Argent, Caisse d’Epargne, GIP – Groupement des Industriels de la Production, SMABTP insurance group, KOREGRAF real estate crowdfunding platform, APAVE international risk management group, EDF, GRDF, Banque Populaire and SOCOTEC, expert in building sustainability. Internet users were able to vote online until October 20, 2023 to elect the general public prize.

Centered on the fundamental subjects of the profession such as innovation, quality, technical and energy performance, customer relations and the emergence of new talents, the Pyramids are available in the region, with a first level, the Pyramids of Silver which rewards the best regional real estate projects, selected by a regional jury. The regional winners can then compete at the second, national level: the Golden Pyramid and the Vermeil Pyramids, the winners of which are chosen by a national jury.

The seven Silver Pyramids by category are as follows:

Industrial Innovation Pyramid awarded to the Métronome project in Grenoble, from the promoter EDIFIM, awarded by the GIP – Groupement des Industriels de la Prescription;
Corporate Real Estate Pyramid awarded to the Wood project in Grenoble, from the developer VINCI IMMOBILIER, handed over by the SMABTP insurance group;
Societal Impact Pyramid attributed to the Éloge project in Ferney-Voltaire, from the promoter OGIC, delivered by the real estate crowdfunding platform KOREGRAF;
Driving Pyramid operations manager assigned to the Le Flamboyant project in Annecy, from the promoter IMOTIS, handed over by the international risk management group APAVE;
Low-carbon building pyramid awarded to the Domaine de la fringe verte project in Échirolles, from co-developers SULLY IMMOBILIER and IM’CITY, awarded by EDF;
Public Vote Pyramid awarded to the Les Hauts de la Collégiale project in Sallanches, co-promoters SAFILAF and COGECO, awarded by GRDF;
Silver pyramid – Regional grand prize awarded to the Wood project in Grenoble, from the developer VINCI IMMOBILIER, handed over by the Caisse d’Epargne.
