The 2023 Science Festival in Hong Kong, on the theme “Sport and science: from health to performance” brought together 39,000 participants, and highlighted the expertise of many sports and health professionals through various events open to all audiences. Conferences, films, round tables, workshops and sports classes: all the activities were popular!
Sporting events for everyone
As France prepares to host the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Science Festival has highlighted the health benefits of regular sports practice, in particular by offering gym classes. free for children, adults and seniors.

We would like to thank the two ambassadors of the 2023 Science Festival, Grégory Koenig (coach of the Hong Kong fencing team) and Alison Yu (Paralympic fencer born in Hong Kong, 7 times gold medalist at the Paralympic Games ) for their support and active participation in the festival.
