2023-hyundai-i20-n-line-speed-testing-details | Hyundai has started testing the 2023 i20 N-Line

Korean manufacturer Hyundai will launch its performance model i20 N-Line in India by the end of 2021. The initial version of this vehicle was priced at Rs 9.84 lakh ex-showroom when it was launched in the market. The top-end variant is priced at Rs 11.75 lakh ex-showroom. Now, Hyundai has started the test run of the new version of this vehicle on the roads.

Images of the experimental version of the 2023 Hyundai i20 N-Line have surfaced with emission testing equipment on the road. The vehicle also had a sticker that read On Test by ARAI. It is said that this i20 N-Line test mule might be a CNG variant or the existing version undergoing upcoming RDE compliance tests. New spy pictures of the Hyundai i20 N-Line with emission testing equipment hint that Hyundai wants to offer an interesting alternative to its rivals with non-turbo engines.

Needless to say, there are no significant changes in the beta version. The current model is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder GDI turbo petrol engine. This unit produces 120 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque at 1,500-4,000 rpm. Gearbox options are six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) and seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The company claims that the DCT version will accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in 9.1 seconds.
