Housing services in Russia in 2023 increased in price by 8.11%, and housing and communal services by 2.32%. Rosstat reports this.
“Indices of prices and tariffs for certain groups and types of services: housing (without renting an apartment to private individuals) from December 2022 to December 2023 by 8.11%. Services provided by housing and communal services organizations to the population from December 2022 to December 2023 by 2.32%,” it is written in documentpublished by Rosstat.
The increase in price indices and tariffs for utilities in 2023 compared to 2022 amounted to 0.03%. The next indexation of utility tariffs will occur on July 1, 2024.
Housing and communal services in 2024 will rise in price by an average of 10% across the country due to inflation and the lack of indexation last year. Such double-digit growth rates have not occurred in the last 10 years, reports TV channel 360.
