We hope that this award will be an opportunity for as many people as possible to deepen their knowledge of physiology and learn regarding the current situation. We will continue to create a stadium where children can watch soccer with peace of mind and an environment where children can play soccer with peace of mind together with the local people.

Comments from the selection committee

  • I would like to highly appreciate the challenging spirit that was boldly tackled not only by “Sharen!” But also in the Japanese soccer world (Japanese sports world) for the taboo social issue of “physiological poverty”, which is extremely difficult to tackle. ..
  • By accumulating efforts by each club to tackle various social issues such as this case, the J.League (Sharen!) Literally becomes a social cooperation platform for solving social issues by covering 169 policy goals in 17 fields of SDGs (Sharen!). I was convinced once more that it is an organization that can be a human resources / case / collaboration).
  • I hope that the J-Club will take the lead beyond the national and local governments.
