“So there’s juice?” “Yes there is!” Short morning exchange between the director of the Cave de Genève, Jérôme Leupin, and a neighboring winegrower, Laurent Vulliez. Short but decisive. Yes, the juice. The one sheltered by the berries of grapes. The one who makes the wine. After the crazy summer that we have just experienced, his presence is a matter of concern. Under the effect of the heat and the lack of water, the grains could have turned into old dry nuts. But hey, just there is. Phew!
