2022 competition: six start-ups rewarded by Capitole Angels

After two years of absence due to covid, the evening of the winners of Capitole Angels, the association which brings together regional business angels, made it possible to distinguish six companies.

The 2022 edition of the Capitole Angels Laureates evening distinguished six start-ups. The association which brings together regional business angels who invest in up-and-coming companies has brought together its members and partners to form a jury. Their vote made it possible to reward six regional start-ups. The evening organized at the Cité de Toulouse had as guest of honor Dominique Pon, former boss of the Clinique Pasteur who recently joined Docaposte, the digital subsidiary of Le Groupe La Poste, as deputy general manager.

Iliad Interest Day et Pierre Gusti, both carpenters and co-founders of Epur created in the upper Aude valley, received the growth prize. Founded in 2016, Epur designs, manufactures and markets innovative tools for professionals in the field of construction and crafts.

Xavier Sembely et Patrick Callec co-founders of Immoblade received the sustainable housing prize, awarded by the Occitanie Region. This GreenTech start-up created in 2018 develops solar protection glazing that is efficient all year round, aimed at improving thermal comfort and reducing the energy consumption of buildings.

Alexander Magnate created in 2018 in Tarbes in the Hautes-Pyrénées the start-up Intence which won the strategy prize at the Capitole Angels evening. Intence supports tourist destinations in their digitalization and the creation of intelligent visitor experiences.

Alexis Lesly-Veillard et Christophe Sovran co-founders of Sustn Food and agri-food brand “Hoope” won the New Food Award. A FoodTech start-up created in 2018, it has developed a range of organic food products, naturally rich in essential nutrients, by promoting superfoods such as spirulina sold in supermarkets.

Sebastien Duge, president of Tamplo, won the management prize. A tech nugget, Tamplo intends to revolutionize the approach to work meetings via online software that structures collaboration around meetings to make them more efficient.

Francis Allouche, co-founder of Ze Combi, wins the Eco Responsible Logistics prize, awarded by CIC Sud-Ouest. The start-up has developed an innovative concept for last-mile logistics, combining the Combi Cub mobile container and the “ZE ONE” electric urban utility vehicle.
