<Conference method>
12 teams will be divided into 3 teams x 4 pools, and a round-robin qualifying round will be held.
The top two teams from each pool (8 teams in total) advance to the knockout-style final tournament.
Play the 3rd place playoff.

Since the number of teams wishing to participate has exceeded 12, a preliminary qualifying round will be held to participate in the qualifying round.
In Japan, boys participated from the preliminary qualifying. The girls are exempt from the preliminary qualifying because they are seeds and will participate from the main qualifying round.
In the preliminary qualifying, 3 teams will be 1 pool, and only the 1st place in each pool will advance to the qualifying round.
