2019 NCAA Tournament Bracket: Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, and Gonzaga Revealed as Top Seeds

The NCAA has unveiled the “bracket”, the table of its 2019 tournament which will ignite the United States until April 8. Duke, North Carolina, Virginia and Gonzaga are the top seeds in each region.

After having faced each other three times this season, Duke and North Carolina will only be able to meet in the final, during the Final Four scheduled in Minneapolis on the weekend of April 6 to 8. This is the great lesson of the publication of the NCAA tournament table. There are also three ACC teams as seeded since Virginia is number 1 in the South region and its main opponents will be Yves Pons’ Tennessee, the defending champion Villanova or Purdue and Kansas State.

In the East Region, Duke should, in theory, find Michigan State on its way to the Elite Eight, but there are a few hurdles before that, like Maryland and LSU.

In the West region, Killian Tillie’s Gonzaga has arguably the most popular painting.

More difficult with Syracuse, Florida State, Michigan, without forgetting the Murray State of Ja Morant who will challenge Marquette in the first round.

Finally, in the Midwest region, North Carolina and Kentucky are the two seeds, and the underdogs are Kansas and Houston. Strong once more in this part of the table.

Before the start of hostilities on Thursday, there will be the “First Four”, this preliminary round which brings together eight teams. It’s taking place in Dayton, Ohio, and there are four tickets up for grabs for NC Central – North Dakota St, Belmont – Temple, Arizona State – St John’s and F. Dickinson – Prairie View.
