AK consumer advocates have the most important tips in their luggage/information desk for travelers in Terminal 1

St. Pölten (OTS) – The desire to travel is greater than ever this year. Unfortunately, travelers are never completely immune to flight delays or even cancellations. And even when you arrive at your holiday destination, a lot can go wrong. The consumer advisors at AK Niederösterreich know how to best deal with this. They advise travelers directly at Vienna-Schwechat Airport in order to enable them to have a pleasant holiday with the most important tips in their luggage. “Vacation time is the most precious time of the year for employees. Holidays have become all the more valuable in view of the massive increase in prices. We are therefore once more this year at the side of travelers with advice and action, so that they are informed as best as possible in the event of problems and get their rights – for the 20th time,” says AK Lower Austria President and ÖGB NÖ Chairman Markus Wieser.

On site until August 13th

“With this service, we want to ensure that travelers start their vacation knowing that they have a reliable contact point if they have problems,” says AK Lower Austria Director Mag.ª Bettina Heise. That is why the consumer advocates of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labor are available at Vienna-Schwechat Airport at their own information desk in Terminal 1 for tips and questions – Fridays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. In order to be able to inform as many holidaymakers as possible, they are already on site at the weekends when the charter planes depart early in the morning. At the information desk, travelers can also get the “Gute Reise” brochure with all the important tips on problems relating to holidays and flights. Thousands of holidaymakers use this service year following year.
