Im Sommer 2023 the Zuiderdam makes its way from Rotterdam to Boston. The ship will be on the road for a total of 21 days, visiting destinations in Iceland and Greenland, among others. Currently you can get the inside cabin on this trip for €1,409, the outside cabin for €1,509 and the balcony cabin for €1,909 – each per person. Solo travelers are included from €2,271. Full board is included.

You must be vaccinated to participate in the cruise. There is no longer a mask requirement on board. Also note the respective regulations for entry (e.g. at the Federal Foreign Office).
Gratuities are $15.5 per person per night. However, these can be adjusted or deleted as desired.
You no longer need a negative corona test to enter the USA (as of September 19, 2022). Proof of vaccination is currently still mandatory. Further information on entry can be found in our guide and at foreign office.
you get one full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner (some specialty restaurants excluded) plus ice tea and lemonade on deck throughout the day. Participation in all on-board events and use of the ship’s facilities such as the fitness center, pool, library, discotheque, theater etc. during their opening hours are also included.

The Zuiderdam was completed in 2020 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and is 285 meters long and 32 meters wide. Almost 2,000 passengers and 800 crew members can be accommodated on 11 decks. The ship can sail at a maximum of 24 knots.
There are four restaurants (e.g. Italian & Asian) on board as well as several bars and three pools. There is also a spa and wellness area, a large collection of paintings, a golf simulator, a fitness area, all kinds of music and dance events and a casino. The language on board is English and the currency is Euro. A look into the cabins:
Arrival and departure
It should be possible to travel to Rotterdam inexpensively from western Germany, for example by train. For example from Düsseldorf there are tickets for 20€.
