One of the most modern in Europe

The new Škoda 32 Tr trolleybuses can travel up to 20 km without a contact network, giving drivers greater flexibility. This technical parameter allows you to easily bypass traffic obstacles and provides an opportunity to expand routes to reach those parts of the city where the contact network is not developed.

The trolleybuses are equipped with a modern security system, including SOS and A-band buttons, which record events on video, warn of possible collisions and ensure fire extinguishing in the event of an emergency. The vehicle interior and driver’s cabin are also conditioned and ventilated.

It is also important that the new models are adapted to people with individual needs: equipped with ramps, fastening belts, special buttons for emergency messages, light boards and multimedia screens. Passengers can also transport bicycles, use charging connections for smart devices and WiFi connection.

“The trolleybuses that we delivered to Vilnius will undoubtedly improve the state of public transport in the city. They are equipped with advanced traction batteries, camera systems to monitor traffic, a Mirror Eye system that replaces conventional side view mirrors and sensors that monitor the movement of passengers in the environment. All this provides a new level of safety and efficiency, which will make daily journeys smoother and safer for everyone,” says Karel Majeris, Chairman of the Board of Škoda Electric, a Škoda Group company.
