While the small world of video games is feverishly awaiting the arrival of Horizon 2 Forbidden West for February 18, Sony Interactive Entertainment has split a small press release to indicate that the first episode, Horizon Zero Dawn, has just crossed the threshold of 20 million units sold since its release in 2017, knowing that since then the title has also been available on PC. This figure of 20 million thus includes all sales made on both PS4 and PC. To stay in the numbers, Guerrilla Games reports that 1 billion hours of play have been recorded since its debut, which shows the full potential of this new license. By communicating on these new figures, Sony Interactive Entertainment offers a good window of visibility to the suite which wishes to do as well as its elder. Given that we finished the game several weeks ago, we would be tempted to tell you everything, but that was without counting the NDAs that we sign on a daily basis.
Wow, Horizon Zero Dawn has officially sold over 20 MILLION copies around the world across PS4 and PC! What an incredible achievement @Guerrillaand a big thank you to our hugely supportive fans!
