Gaza – 20 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured since dawn on Sunday in a series of Israeli raids targeting apartments and residential buildings inhabited by civilians in various governorates of the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, told an Anadolu Agency correspondent that 7 dead people arrived: a woman and 6 of her children, after an Israeli bombardment targeted a house in the city.
Eyewitnesses told the Anadolu Agency correspondent that an Israeli warplane targeted a house belonging to the Al-Attar family on Al-Mazra’a Street, east of Deir al-Balah, killing a woman and 6 of her children, including 4 twins.
In the Nuseirat camp (center), 4 Palestinians were killed and several others were wounded in an Israeli air strike that targeted the home of the Al-Yazji family on Al-Ishrin Street in the camp, according to Palestinian paramedics.
The Israeli artillery stationed east of the Gaza Strip launched intensive artillery shelling east of the Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij camps, the city of Deir al-Balah, and the town of Al-Masdar (center), amid intermittent gunfire from helicopters, according to eyewitnesses.
In the city of Khan Yunis (south), 4 Palestinians, including a woman, were killed when an Israeli reconnaissance plane bombed a house belonging to the Musbah family in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of the city, according to eyewitnesses and a medical source for Anadolu.
Local sources told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army carried out bombing operations against dozens of residential buildings in Khan Yunis and the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah.
The same sources added that Israeli warplanes carried out a fire belt around the Taiba Mosque in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city.
In Gaza City, a Palestinian woman was killed and several others were injured when an Israeli reconnaissance plane bombed a house belonging to the “Joda” family in the Sabra neighborhood in the south of the city, according to a medical source for Anadolu.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli army vehicles hit the Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods southeast of Gaza City.
Palestinian Civil Defense teams were able to retrieve the bodies of 4 dead people and a number of injured people, following an Israeli attack on homes belonging to the Ghaban, Dahman, and Abu al-Qar’a families on al-Hawja Street in Jabalia camp, north of the Strip, according to a statement by the agency.
