The Technical Committee for the Control of Drugs at the Egyptian Medicines Authority had suspended the registration of all preparations for the antibiotic Gemifloxacin, canceled the production of all preparations containing that substance, and gave a period of 3 months for companies to adjust their conditions and withdraw all preparations from the market
