2 people were injured in the case of a passenger car losing control at the temple gate

The accident happened today (January 29), in the area near Gate of Ba Vang Pagoda (Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh) caused one death and one injury.

The driver was identified as Mr. Nguyen Quang Tiem (born in 1989, residing in Kham Lang commune, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province), driving a car BKS 98F-002.47 carrying passengers to visit Ba Vang Pagoda. After taking guests to the temple, when the car returned to the parking spot, lose control and crashed into some tourists walking. The car then crashed into the open ground next to the road.

As a result of the accident, TVT (SN 1936, residing in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province) was seriously injured and died following being taken to the hospital for emergency. Mr. NV (SN 1976, residing in Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province) suffered multiple injuries.

Immediately following the incident, the functional forces of Uong Bi city were present at the scene, taking the victim to emergency and regulating traffic.

Regarding the accident, Uong Bi city authorities are coordinating with investigation and handling units in accordance with law.
