News 1 obtained a photo of two Kazakhstani nationals in their 10s and 20s who escaped while waiting following being denied entry by the Ministry of Justice, broke through the Incheon Airport security system and fled.
According to News 1 coverage on the 26th, Group A, a teenage male of Kazakhstani nationality, and B, a male in his 20s of the same nationality, were denied entry following entering the country at around 7:20 am on the 24th. Afterwards, around 6:00 pm on the 25th, he moved to the transfer area on the 3rd floor and waited, and on the morning of the 26th, ahead of forced repatriation, he broke the window of the west bus gate and left the passenger terminal.
The windows they broke were so large that one adult might barely get through, and one window was completely broken.
Those who left the passenger terminal moved to Terminal 2’s 4th runway at around 4:18 am on the 26th and crossed the northern outer fence.
It is known that the Ministry of Justice and others lost sight of where Mr. A and others were, and found out that they had smuggled in when the alarm of the intrusion detection sensor on the outer fence of the airport was activated.
After receiving the report, the investigative authorities, who were dispatched, checked the nearby closed circuit (CC) TV where the signal was detected at around 4:19 am on the 26th and found two people, including Mr. A, who crossed the outer fence.
Barbed wire was installed on the fence outside the airport where they fled, and it is a place equipped with three layers of security equipment such as infrared monitoring equipment, security sensors, and tension devices.
The police are checking the related agencies and the flight that Mr. A and others used, the reason for the entry denial, and how he escaped through the security net.
A police official said, “We are checking the reason why Mr. A and others were not allowed to enter the country.”
