2 of prisoners who escaped from Rawalkot Jail arrested – Pakistan

2 of the prisoners who escaped from the jail in Rawalkot were arrested.

According to sources, Usman and Faizan are among the arrested accused, both the prisoners were arrested from the forest.

It should be noted that four days ago, 18 prisoners escaped from the district jail Rawalakot of Azad Kashmir. All tactics by the government, including putting a price on the heads of escaped prisoners, using sophisticated equipment and drone cameras, were proving unsuccessful.

Now information has been received that two prisoners have been arrested from the forest.

It may be recalled that the Inspector General of Prisons had written a letter to the Registrar High Court on May 30 in which the District Jail, Rawalkot, had been declared extremely unsafe due to the possibility of dangerous prisoners escaping from the jail.

However, why the security of the jail has not been increased is a question mark. Possibly due to lack of adequate security arrangements, the escape of the prisoners took place.
