Irma Gracia is one of two teachers who tragically lost their lives in the horrific shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, where 19 children were gunned down. This Thursday, we learn in the columns of HLN that her husband, Joe Garcia, lost his life two days following her. He died of a heart attack.
Irma and Joe Garcia were married for 24 years and leave behind four children. “I truly believe Joe died of a broken heart and losing the love of his life following more than 25 years was too much for him,” said Debra Austin, a niece of Irma.
