19th Asian Games in Hangzhou: Details, Facilities, and Media Coverage

The Organizing Committee for the 19th Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou, eastern China, from September 23 to October 8, revealed the details of the tournament, which will witness the participation of 12,000 athletes, 5,000 administrators and officials, 4,700 technical officials, and 12,000 media professionals.
This came during the second international conference held by the Organizing Committee for the session at the International Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, and was attended by regarding 200 media professionals, including representatives of more than 80 Chinese and international news agencies, in addition to the participation of regarding 100 media professionals via the “Internet” from different countries of the world.
Hussein Al-Musallam, Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, welcomed in a message to all the participants in the conference, where it was announced that the cards of 12,000 media professionals had been approved to cover the activities of the session, and this number is equivalent to the number of athletes participating in the session, who represent 45 National Olympic Committees.
Chen Weiqiang, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Games and Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, spoke at the conference, and was attended by a number of officials of the Olympic Council of Asia, including Jens Zhu Jian, Director of the Media and Television Broadcasting Department, and a number of Chinese officials.
During which the organizing committee explained to the representatives of the Olympic committees everything related to Asian participation, such as arrival and departure, tournament hotels, sports village, media village, nutrition, transportation network, stadiums, sports facilities, opening and closing ceremonies, and many other organizational aspects.
The committee stated that the competitions will be held in 54 facilities, in addition to 31 facilities dedicated to training, and that a special application will be launched for the course that interacts with the user while he is in the facility, while there will be smart cars without a driver to transport athletes, and artificial intelligence technology will be used and technology will be used to serve the participants with Customizing a robot that is fluent in sign language for the deaf and various other languages.
The organizing committee confirmed that the sports and media village will be fully equipped to receive delegations, announcing the participation of regarding 12,000 media professionals to cover the activities of the session, which is witnessing competitions in 483 competitions (40 sports and 61 specializations).
The visit included a series of field tours to get acquainted with the facilities, sports stadiums and various facilities of the course.
