Despite the negative impact of the Corona pandemic on the course of its cinematic presentation in Lebanon, the 1982 movie, directed by Walid Mons, was able to reach New York and Taiwan yesterday, Friday, before its opening in Los Angeles on the 24th of this month.
This film, which was also shown in Brazil, Mexico, France and other countries, tells the director’s personal story, on the last school day he lived in Lebanon before emigrating from it, at the moment of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982.
It stars Nadine Labaki, Rodrigue Sleiman and a large number of children.
