Goalkeeper of the St. Petersburg hockey club SKA Sergei Ivanov confirmed Sport-Express received information regarding the theft of his Hyundai Tucson car worth regarding 3 million rubles.

Earlier on Sunday, July 2, telegram channel “112” informedthat the hockey player’s car was stolen the day before from the parking lot on Kollontai Street, a criminal case was opened.

“Yes, my car was indeed stolen. Now they are looking for a car. We contacted the police, now they are searching for the perpetrators and the car. Everything is calm,” Ivanov said.

Ivanov is 19 years old, last season he took part in five KHL games, reflecting an average of 95.7% of shots, and also played 19 games for SKA-Neva in the VHL and 16 meetings for SKA-1946 in the MHL.

Ivanov is the silver medalist of the 2021 World Junior Championships as part of the Russian team, the winner of the Ivan Glinka Memorial and the 2020 Youth Olympic Games.
