The 19-year-old England midfielder has been voted the best player in the Bundesliga.

Jude Bellingham (Stourbridge, 29/06/2003) is a new Real Madrid player. Our club are recruiting one of the great talents of world football, a midfielder from Borussia Dortmund who arrives at Real following being voted the best player in the 2022/23 Bundesliga. In addition, at only 19 years old, he is already a holder of the English selection.

Bellingham joins Carlo Ancelotti’s squad following playing three seasons in Germany. During the last, he signed his goalscoring record with Borussia Dortmund (14 goals in all competitions). In September 2020, he scored on his debut for the German outfit and became the youngest goalscorer in club history (17 years and 77 days). This season, he started in the German Cup final won by Borussia Dortmund.

In selection

After starting with the absolute selection in November 2020, Bellingham was called up for Euro 2020 with England, runners-up in the tournament. He also participated in the Qatar World Cup 2022 and scored a goal.

Prior to his move to Germany, Bellingham trained at Birmingham City. In August 2019, he became the youngest player in club history to start (16 years and 38 days) and to score (16 years and 63 days). After leaving the English club in July 2020, Birmingham announced that they would retire the shirt with the number 22 in his honor.
