1860 Munich: New job for Sascha Mölders! What the ex-lion is doing now.

New job for Sascha Mölders (36)!

The ex-lion is playing assistant coach at fourth division SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. Hans-Jürgen Boysen (64 / including Augsburg, Sandhausen) will be appointed head coach. The duo received contracts until the end of the season and will lead the first training next Monday.

On December 19, 1860 Munich and the cult striker agreed on an immediate cancellation of the contract that originally ran until the end of the season. Mölders made 16 games in this third division season (5 goals). But at the beginning of December the club had suspended him until further notice, he was not part of the squad for the last two third division games of the first half of the season. The lions had left the door open and offered him a return if he made up for his supposed lack of fitness. But nothing came of it.

Most recently Mölders was in conversation with third division Kaiserslautern. As BILD reported, the Red Devils wanted to strengthen themselves with the striker in winter.

Now he is moving to Großaspach and is supposed to save the regional league team (currently penultimate) from relegation!

Mölders: “I am still very motivated as a player and of course I would like to help the SG directly on the pitch. At the same time, I would like to continue to grow in a responsible role as a coach off the field and can learn from Hans-Jürgen here – so I’m really looking forward to the job here at the village club. It is well known that I am not a man of big words, but prefer to follow deeds. “

Mölders and Boysen know each other from a time together at the former second division club FSV Frankfurt.
