An 18-year-old boy was shot in a Zurich bar on Tuesday evening. According to police, one person had brought a weapon. When he was handling the gun, a shot was fired and hit the youth in the leg.

The deployed police met an 18-year-old Swiss man in the building who had injured his leg. The teenager was taken to the hospital.

According to initial investigations by the city police, several people were previously in the restaurant. One person from the group brought a handgun. For reasons that are still unknown, a shot was fired while handling the gun, and the teenager was hit.
Two people, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old Swiss, were arrested in connection with the incident. The handgun was secured.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Zurich cantonal police and the Zurich public prosecutor’s office. (man)
