The American Bri Blanton, 18 years old, took a real shock to find out that she would be a mother. Unlike other pregnant women, the young woman did not have a trousseau, medical follow-up and did not even see her belly grow. When Bri found out she was pregnant, she was already in labor.
“I didn’t know I was pregnant. I haven’t had symptoms, I haven’t gained any weight, and I’ve had my period for the past nine months. I didn’t have time to prepare for my daughter’s arrival because I had no idea,” said Bri, on a social network.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Bri’s mother even suspected that there was something wrong with her daughter when she saw her vomit following a meal. The young woman, however, took a pregnancy test which was negative.
