A 17-year-old from Flachgau collided with a deer on his motorcycle in St. Lorenz near Mondsee (Upper Austria) on Friday night.
According to the police report, the young man was riding his bike on the L539 towards Thalgau at around 1:40 a.m. on Friday. In the municipality of St. Lorenz, a deer jumped onto the road in front of the driver, with which the 17-year-old collided head-on and fell. The driver was taken to the Salzburg accident hospital with injuries of an unspecified degree. The dead deer was picked up by the responsible hunter.
