Aeronautics: The extension of the Bouskoura site covers an area of 18,700 square meters, thus creating more than 400 jobs.
The Hutchinson Group is expanding its Bouskoura production site. This extension was indeed inaugurated on Wednesday, thus strengthening the group’s contribution to the development of the national aeronautical sector. Relating to an investment of 166 million dirhams, the extension of the Bouskoura site covers an area of 18,700 square meters, thus allowing the creation of more than 400 jobs. Speaking on this occasion, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, stressed the importance of this inauguration, which is part of the signing of the industrial agreement protocol signed before the Sovereign, aiming to create a source of supply for the aircraft manufacturer Boeing.

Referring to Mr. Mezzour, Moroccan industries will continue to support the strengthening of these achievements to align with global trends in the aeronautics sector.
For her part, Helene Moreau-Leroy, President and CEO of the Hutchinson Group, emphasized the role that Morocco plays in the development and growth of the Hutchinson Group, since the establishment of the first factory in 2007. “We have continued to increase our activities in Morocco, with a factory specializing in the production of aeronautical products in Casablanca and two factories specializing in automotive products, located in Tangier”, indicates the manager. And to add that “the extension of the site inaugurated today is modern and connected, operating in the best international practices of the aeronautical industry”. For his part, Simon Pecastaing, director of the Hutchinson Casablanca factory, affirmed that “the extension of the Hutchinson Casablanca factory has been supported by Morocco, which is adopting a clear policy and supporting us in the best possible way and which also abounds in available, competent and trained human resources”. And to conclude that “this extension constitutes a reinforcement of the production capacities of the group on the two activities, namely the composite and the mattresses of thermal and phonic insulation”. It should be noted that Hutchinson specializes in the manufacture of composite aeronautical parts and cabin insulation solutions.
