Jak Lingko operators need to fulfill administrative licensing requirements before hitting the road. In addition to the motorized vehicle registration certificate (STNK), there needs to be a KIR test and a transportation organization test along with its derivatives to become a supervision card (KP).
“Well, several operators are indicated to not have processed the supervision cards. So the supervision cards are attached to each vehicle and the transportation organization permit is attached to the company,” explained the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, to the media crew at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (30/7).
The KP found by Transjakarta is full of fakes. He explained that the operator who only has five KPs, but wants to quickly reach 20 KPs, deliberately fakes the other 15.
His party has conducted mediation with the person in charge of the KP forgery. “The perpetrators apologized, of course I said personally we must forgive each other. However, related to the process, I submit it to each of them for the supervision card document as the DKI Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP),” he said.
Syafrin explained that out of 2795 Jak Lingko units in Jakarta, 160 were found using fake KP. Later, the relevant parties will impose sanctions. “Yes, of course, all of them will be followed up according to applicable provisions,” said Syafrin.
Previously, hundreds of Mikrotrans drivers held a demonstration at the Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (30/7) afternoon. They also brought fleets parked along Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. Congestion was unavoidable.
One of them complained about the distribution of quotas for the procurement of Mikrotrans as a replacement for regular fleets such as Metromini and angkot for operators who have partnered. As a result, 29 JakLingko routes were forced to temporarily stop operating. (Z-2)
