Yesterday evening, the eleventh edition of the “Al Furjan Ramadan” football tournament was launched, under the slogan “Emirates Belonging and Giving”, organized by the Emirates Society for Social Development, with the participation of 16 teams, at the association’s stadiums in Ras Al Khaimah.
Khalaf Salem bin Anbar, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Championship and Director General of the Association, confirmed that the Al-Furjan Ramadan Championship is one of the important sporting events that the Board of Directors of the Association is keen to organize every year, pointing out that the aim of this tournament is to achieve optimal use of leisure time among young people, and to establish a culture Sports practice, promoting the values of tolerance adopted by the state, and keen to promote them.
For his part, Salem Al-Nuaimi, Tournament Director, confirmed that the preparation for this tournament was comprehensive and multi-faceted in terms of organization, planning and equipment necessary for stadiums and teams, and indicated that the competitions will be at a high level of excitement and suspense, wishing everyone success in this important sports tournament.
