156 new infections and no deaths this Friday

Until 3 p.m. this Friday, 156 cases of the new coronavirus have been recorded in Morocco. Thus, the total number of people infected since the start of the health crisis in the country has reached 1,270,007. In addition, 24,916,447 people have received, until today, the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19. , while 23,416,810 received the second, 6,862,172 received the third and 56,999 received the fourth.

Morocco recorded 183 new recoveries, bringing the total number to 1,252,677, with a remission rate of 98.7%. On the other hand, no death has been deplored in the past 24 hours, the number of people who died from Covid-19 reaching 16,287, i.e. a fatality rate of 1.3%.

Morocco now has 1,043 active cases under treatment. 8 patients remain in critical condition. No new cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours. 2 remain on noninvasive ventilation, while 1 is intubated.

As for the geographical distribution of infections in the past 24 hours, Casablanca-Settat comes first with 54 cases: 45 in Casablanca, 5 in Mohammedia, 2 in Berrechid, 1 in Nouaceur and 1 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes with Rabat-Salé-Kénitra 53 cases: 17 in Rabat, 13 in Salé, 11 in Skhitate-Témara, 7 in Kenitra, 3 in Khémisset and 2 in Sidi Kacem. Fez-Meknes recorded 14 cases: 10 in Meknes, 2 in Fez and 2 in Taounate. Marrakech-Safi has confirmed 7 cases: 6 in Marrakech and 1 in Safi.

Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 6 cases: 5 in Tangier-Assilah and 1 in Ouezzane. The Oriental has identified 5: 2 in Oujda-Angad, 2 in Berkane and 1 in Figuig, likewise Guelmim-Oued Noun (5): 3 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Tan Tan. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 2: 1 in Beni Mellal and 1 in Fquih Ben Salah. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 1 case in Errachidia.
