Large crowds at the 2nd Bergretter Fantag, the ZDF ratings hit is produced in the Austrian region of Schladming-Dachstein
Ramsau am Dachstein – Dramatic rescue operations in the Styrian Alps, great emotions, romance and lots of excitement in front of the fantastic mountain scenery around the Styrian town of Ramsau am Dachstein. That is the recipe for success of the television series ‘Die Bergretter’, which reaches up to six million viewers a week on ZDF and has been broadcast on TV since 2009. On Friday (June 9th), fans were able to take a look behind the scenes of the successful TV show at the 2nd Bergretter Fantag.
Around 1,500 enthusiastic mountain rescue fans took the opportunity to make the pilgrimage to Ramsau am Dachstein to see their stars live in action. The varied, all-day program included a spectacular mountain rescue operation with the Ramsau am Dachstein mountain rescue service, the ÖAMTC air rescue service C14, and the actors from the TV series. As a highlight in the followingnoon, the stars of the series Sebastian Ströbel (Markus Kofler), Luise Bähr (Katharina Strasser), Robert Lohr (Michael Dörfler), Markus Brandl (Tobias Herbrechter) and Martin Leutgeb (policeman Gert Holzer) were enthusiastic regarding the live talk in the marquee the spectators…
