Sunday October 1, 2023 took place the 14th Walk for breast cancer screening, in the heart of Les Faux de Verzy.
Organized in the Verzy national forestthis march, set up as part ofPink October and promoting breast cancer screening took place on three possible pathways of 4, 7 and 14 kilometers.
Thanks to the volunteers, the identification, security and organization of this walk allowed the participants who came in large numbers to fully benefit from this sporting, friendly and useful activity in an idyllic and relaxing setting.
Ce Sunday October 1st, 1375 people were therefore welcomed by the doctor from the Marne Regional Cancer Screening Coordination Center (CRCDC-GE) and volunteers from the Marne committee of the League against Cancer, before setting off on one of the three courses offered by le Club Reims Rando.
If participation in the march was completely free, a donation was possible. The participants, very involved; allowed the collection of 7590,76 euros.
The amount of donations gave rise to symbolic delivery of a check on November 27 last in the premises of the League against Cancer.

Dr Aurélie BERTRAND, coordinating doctor, Mr Jean-Luc VIGNOLLES, president of Reims Rando, and Mr Norbert BIGEAT, president of the Marne committee of the League, warmly thanked the donors and volunteers.
These donations were entrusted to the Marne Committee of the League Against Cancerwhich will manage them in conjunction with the CRCDC-GE.
