14,398 new confirmed COVID-19 cases… 10,000 people for three days in a row

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Korea has risen to 10,000 for the third day in a row.

The number of new confirmed cases decreased by 9,64 from a week ago and by 15,183 from two weeks ago.

If you look at the number of new confirmed cases as of Saturday alone, it is the lowest in 18 weeks after recording 79 on January 22, the early stage of the Omicron epidemic.

A total of 18,067,669 cumulative confirmed cases since the outbreak of COVID-19.

The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 196, a decrease of 11 in one day, the lowest since July 19 last year (185).

The death toll was 36, the cumulative death toll was 24,139, and the cumulative fatality rate was 0.13%.

As of 5 pm on the 27th, the bed utilization rate was 12.7% for critically ill patients, 17.9% for semi-severe patients, 12.5% ​​for moderate patients, and 6.0% for living treatment centers.

As of 00:00 today, there are 123,366 home-treated patients nationwide. The previous day, there were 15,185 new home treatment patients.

The completion rate of basic vaccination compared to the total population is 86.9%. The tertiary vaccination rate was 64.9% and 70.7% compared to the population over 12 years old.

The 4th dose rate was 7.9%, and 28.4% of the population over the age of 60 completed the 4th dose.
