14 competitions kick off the showjumping season

The first competition in the 11th edition of the Emirates Longines Show Jumping League begins tomorrow, “Saturday”, in the fields of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, at the beginning of the new season program, and continues until April 2023.
The season includes 15 international showjumping championships of all categories, including 2 of the “five-star” category, which are the highest rated in the season, the President’s Cup and Nations Cup organized by the Equestrian and Racing Federation on the field of the Al Forsan Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi during January 2023, and the Cup Championship Ruler of Sharjah International at the Covered Hall Square at the Sharjah Equestrian Center next February.
Among the international jumping championships of the 4-star category are the Abu Dhabi International Championship, the International Sailing Championship for Showjumping, and the Sharjah International Championship “23” in early February. The third is organized by the Ajman Equestrian Club.
International two-star jumping championships, the first of which will be at Al Ain Equestrian Club next November, the Dubai International Show Jumping Championships in December, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Cup in the last week of January, and the Sharjah International Championship in the second week of February, followed by the Sustainable City Championship in Dubai At the end of February, and in the first week of March, Al Forsan Sports Resort will organize an international two-star championship, and an international one-star jumping championship, which will be held at Al Bahia Equestrian Club in Abu Dhabi in early December.
The 11th edition of the Emirates Longines Show Jumping League is under the supervision of the Equestrian Federation and the Longines Sponsorship, which kicks off today in cooperation with the Sharjah Equestrian Club, and includes 11 weekly meetings.
The activities of the first week of the league include 14 competitions, most of which are open to participation, with specifications of one round, and two special stages, and two stages, and a single round competition with a round of differentiation according to the categories of jockeys and horses. Five in the evening, the tracks are designed with barriers starting from 80-90 cm in height for the competitions of cubs, beginners and young horses 4 years old, up to a height of “140” cm. The categories that they will go to in the upcoming meetings, in addition to a number of summer training competitions in which the jockeys and knights were organized in the fields of the covered hall in Sharjah Equestrian, or in the European summer camps in which a number of jockeys joined and participated in a number of international championships that I witnessed and most of them won the results of winning its titles or one of its advanced centers.
