13,000 ducks will dance on the Gardon for a good cause

The Duck race, organized by Rotary, is back for its third edition, Saturday June 24, 2023.

Popular and festive, the Duck race is back for a third edition, Saturday June 24th. Originally scheduled for September 3, 2022 but canceled due to weather forecasts, the giant duck race is renewing a formula that works. Alésiens are invited to adopt their bird, which will be positioned on the Gardon and will allow, depending on its position, to win a prize among the fifty prizes put into play. The first duck to arrive allows its owner to leave with… . a car ! All under bailiff control. We are far from the carnival atmosphere.

This popular and family race has been attracting thousands of Alésiens for three years.

Among the novelties this year, we will create a square companies, on the spot.”
