13,000 Covid deaths in Chinese hospitals

BEIJING: Nearly 13,000 Covid deaths were reported in China’s hospitals last week.
Chechen health officials have revealed that a majority of the population has already been infected with the Covid-19 virus. A week ago, China confirmed that 60,000 people have died in hospitals due to covid. However, the world had doubts regarding Echena.
Chena said that 681 hospitalized patients died due to respiratory failure caused by the Covid-19 virus and 11,977 people succumbed to infection and other diseases during this period. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a statement on Saturday that this does not include the number of people who have died from Everes at home.
Airfinity, an independent monitoring organization, has tallied daily Covid-19 deaths in China.
The peak of the Covid count was 36,000 during the Lunar New Year holiday. The organization also estimates that more than 600,000 people have died due to Covid in the country so far. The steep covid figures come following China abandoned its zero-covid policy in December.
The agency also said the spread of Everest had spiked as millions traveled across the country to visit family members as part of the Lunar New Year celebrations.
